Vimala To Star Opposite Nagarjuna

Superstar Nagarjuna is not the one likes taking breaks after making blockbusters. The Kedi actor is preparing himself for his next with K. Raghavendra Rao of Gharana Mogudu fame. Nagarjuna’s recently released Oopiri made huge success on box office and the combo of Karthi and Nags really worked for fans.

Now, the director is trying to figure out the actress who would play the lead female along with Nagarjuna. Few names such as of Anushka and Pragya Jaiswal popped up, with talks going on between makers and both these stars, as rumours suggests. However, the news now is popular Malayali actress Vimala Raman has been approached to for the lead female character.

A source has revealed, “Director Raghavendra Rao has been scouting for the right heroine for quite some time now. This is an important project for him so he wants to get the casting right. Vimala Raman and Nag acted together in a jewellery commercial and after seeing it”. He added that makers all but sure to finalize her for the role and negotiations are taking place with announcement on the cards.
