Vishwaroopam DTH issue: Haasan approaches Competition Commission

After his all other steps to convince theatre owners on the issue of his magnum opusVishwaroopam’sDTH premiere fell flat, megastar Kamal Haasan has now moved Competition Commission on some theatre associations’ alleged plan to restrict the release of his film. A senior CCI official confirmed the news, saying, "We have received a complaint from Kamal Haasan’s production house Rajkamal Films International (related toVishwaroopam)". According to sources, the complaint was filed last week against some theatre associations. The official informed, "We are likely to take a call on the issue next week".
