Why Did Baahubali's Re-Release Bomb At The Box Office?

Why Did Baahubali's Re-Release Bomb At The Box Office?

Entertainment industry is unpredictable. Sometimes things don’t turn out to be same what filmmakers plan. The same happened with the makers of Bahubali, who decided to release the first part of the film in Hindi all over India without even considering those areas where Hindi might not be popular among folks.

What is more interesting that the makers of the movie released the Hindi version and not the Telugu even in Hyderabad where Hindi might not be understood by many. A source shared the news, “It was Karan’s idea to release the Hindi version throughout India in more than 1,000 screens. But it turned out to be a flop as no one showed interest to watch the film in Hyderabad.”

It is also being reported that Karan thought that releasing the movie in Hindi all over the country would lead to film’s publicity. However, his idea failed and the filmmakers incurred huge losses as they had to pay the rent to the theatres. Not only in Hyderabad, but in Mumbai also the response was not as expected. KJo, please come up with a better idea next time.
