With 180 crore collection, Thuppakki enters 100 crore club

With the announcement ofEros International,A. R. Murugadoss directedThuppakki,has made it to the 100 crore club of Kollywood. As per the announcement, the film has made a total collection of 180 crore (domestic) at the box office. With this, it has become the fourth movie to do 100 crore business in the Tamil film industry.

Murugadoss has become the first director to enter 100 crore club with this flick. It seems as if the T-wood is walking on the foot-steps of Bollywood as B-town is repeatedly giving 100 crore hits with each movie.

The director is at present shooting for the Hindi version ofThuppakki which castsAkshay Kumar in the lead.
