Wow! ‘Rudhramadevi’ Nominated In Oscars

Telugu movies rarely get acknowledged at national levels. In such a case, getting nominated for the Oscar Awards in the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ category is a huge triumph. It is likely to be one of the biggest achievements for Tollywood that ‘Rudhramadevi’ has been nominated in the Oscars.

Gunasekhar, the director of ‘Rudhramadevi’, has confirmed the news. Film Federation of India has recommended historical Telugu film ‘Rudhramadevi’ for the Oscar Awards. This is surely a proud moment for the entire Telugu film fraternity.

‘Rudhramadevi’ is a 3D historical film that released on October 9, 2015. The movie was about a queen named Rudrama Devi, who ruled the Kakatiya kingdom. Narrated by Chiranjeevi, the film features Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Vikramjeet Virk, Prakash Raj, Nithya Menen, Baba Sehgal and Catherine Tresa.
