Wow! This Director To Help AP Government To Design Amaravati

It takes huge efforts and thorough study to design a place. The new capital city of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati, has been undergoing this phase. Ever since it was declared as the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh, its urban planning activities were being undertaken by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA).

As per the latest development, the director of magnum opus ‘Baahubali’, S. S. Rajamouli, will help the Andhra Pradesh government to design Amaravati. Reports have revealed that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and the officials of APCRDA were highly impressed with the designs that Rajamouli finalised for the buildings of Mahishmati in his epic film ‘Baahubali’. Hence, they have approached the director to assist them in designing Amaravati.

Moreover, it is learnt that the APCRDA team had a lengthy discussion with Rajamouli who has agreed for his assistance. An official divulged, “Rajamouli said he was very privileged to be associated with the capital construction but said he would be able to dedicate time to the project only after he completed the ongoing work on Baahubali-2, the sequel to the first part.”

APCRDA principal secretary Ajay Jain is pleased with this development. He says, “Rajamouli has extensive knowledge in history and the way he designed the sets for his film was commendable. We wanted to make use of his expertise in finalising the designs for Amaravati. The APCRDA will be in regular touch with him.”

S. S. Rajamouli’s widespread knowledge in history and the capability to portray it well has helped him in being such a prestigious part in the designing of Amaravati.
