Yesteryear Actress Slams ‘Baahubali’

Last year, director S.S. Rajamouli delivered magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ which turned out to be a huge blockbuster. The film was praised not only in India but overseas as well. It even got a standing ovation at an international film festival. It became the highest grossing Telugu film, but it still failed to impress one of the actresses.

According to reports, yesteryear actress Jamuna was not impressed by the flick. She called the epic historical fiction a stupid film. She attended an event recently and there she said, “I watched Baahubali on the insistence of my grandson. It is a stupid film. There is nothing except for good technical values. Other than the hero, nobody was selected suitably”.

The film recently bagged six awards at IIFA Utsavam, including for the best film and best direction award. Currently, the director is busy shooting the sequel with the star cast. The whole team is making immense efforts to make the second part bigger and better than the prequel.
