<p>Madhuri Dixit had suffered a nasty incident on the sets of the 1989 film Shanakht with Amitabh Bachchan. The actress was fired from the film within a day by director-actor Tinnu Anand.&nbsp;</p>

Madhuri Dixit was offered Tinnu Anand's 1989 film Shanakht opposite Amitabh Bachchan. Tinnu had asked her to do a scene wherein she had to wear a bra. In an earlier interview with Radio Nasha, Tinnu said that Madhuri had agreed to do the scene and signed the dotted lines. He wanted to shoot the scene on the first day itself. 

Madhuri Dixit refused to do the scene in a bra which was supposed to be shot on the first day. 

Tinnu Anand became furious with Madhuri Dixit after her refusal to do the scene. He tried to convince her to do the scene since it was a non-negotiable. 

Tinnu Anand asked Madhuri Dixit to leave the sets and she was fired overnight from Shanakht. However, her secretary asked him to reconsider. 

Shanakht's shooting was soon resumed after the controversy was resolved. 

However, the movie wrapped up in just 5 days and was shelved unceremoniously. Thus, not seeing the light of the day.
