<p>Like on the show, there have been some ugly controversies from outside of Bigg Boss 16 that affected the contestants in a big way. Let us take a look at them.&nbsp;</p>

It was recently revealed from the Udaariyan actress' Instagram bio that she had roped in her co-contestant Vikkas Manaktala's wife Guunjan as one of the members of her PR team. This led to a huge outcry, especially amongst the fans of Shiv Thakare. Fans came to a conclusion that Vikkas purposely supported Priyanka and tried to be at loggerheads with Shiv due to this reason. His wife Guunjan also accused Shiv of allegedly stealing her husband's clothes on the show and wearing them. However, Priyanka's team issued a statement that hinted that there was no connection between their hiring Guunjan as Priyanka's PR and her fiasco with Shiv. However, many fans are still agitated with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary for the roping in a wife of an ex-contestant of Bigg Boss 16 in her PR team who was at acute loggerheads with her arch nemesis Shiv Thakare on the show. 

Tina Datta made some serious allegations about Shalin Bhanot after their on-and-off equation ultimately ended on a sour patch. The Uttaran actress said that Shalin had tried to contact her before they went on the show to suggest playing the game together. but Tina refused the same. However, Shalin rubbished these allegations and implied that he just wanted to rope in the same PR professional as Tina. However, many fans wondered whether their equation was just a gimmick that was planned from outside of the show by both the sides. 

Before entering the show during the family week, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia's father was seen telling Salman Khan that he thinks Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has hired a bot machinery to troll Nimrit as she is very insecure of her. This sharp allegation not only angered fans of the Udaariyan actress but also her family members who issued a statement as retaliation. Priyanka's family hinted that Nimrit might have had some hand in roping in bots to make her win the MyGlamm contest. However, at last the fiasco died down when Nimrit's family said that they don't have any personal agenda toward Priyanka. 

Though Sajid Khan was seen sharing a close rapport with Abdu Rozik, the filmmaker went quite overboard when he wrote 'I Love Tatti' on Abdu's back on the occasion of Nimrit's birthday. This angered several fans of the show who called the Humshakals director's prank on the singer distasteful. Abdu's team also issued a statement on the treatment of their client in a foreign land. Salman Khan schooled Sajid severely for the same and it is still speculated that Abdu chose to end his stint on the show due to the same. 

It was recently revealed Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia was brushed off the wrong foot by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary when they shot for an episode of Ranveer Singh's The Big Picture. Nimrit accepted that she did not like Priyanka's vibe which might have translated into the show. Earlier, Soundarya Sharma also revealed that Manya Singh had a personal problem with her from outside of the show since she was selected for an advertisement which Manya had also auditioned for since they were managed by the same agency. 

Not only the contestants but it seemed like the family members of the housemates were also in full action mode. We saw especially Tina Datta's mother at the forefront being at loggerheads with the family members of the housemates who double-crossed her daughter. From lashing out at Sumbul Touqeer Khan's father for allegedly abusing Tina on national television to arguing with MC Stan's mother, Madhumita Datta did it all. There was also some visible friction between her and Shalin Bhanot's mother Sunita Bhanot due to the troubled equation between their respective children.
