After being denied RRR rights by SS Rajamouli, Karan Johar now faces rejection from Ram Charan and Jr NTR for this project?

All eyes are on the upcoming 7th season of Koffee With Karan 7 which will be going down the OTT route this time and will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. While there have been several speculations about the guests who will be seen on the show, the latest development is that RRR stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR have refused to grace the show. Well, if one remembers, Karan was also mocked by RRR director SS Rajamouli in a media event over his popular chat show.

According to a news report in News18 Showsha, fans of Ram Charan and Jr NTR will unfortunately not be seen on the show. It seems that fans have to wait and hope that the actors grace the show in the next season. Not only this but earlier RRR director SS Rajamouli had also mocked Karan Johar over not giving him rights for the magnum opus. In a promotional event for RRR, when Kjo had enquired the filmmaker on why he was not given the rights to the film like his Baahubali franchise, Rajamouli had said, “I asked you to be the presenter of Baahubali films. You made tens and hundreds of crores with that. So, when a producer makes so much money, usually as director I expect some gifts, sir. And what did you give me? You called for your talk show. You gave me a phone and a Bluetooth speaker and you wanted the rights of RRR Hindi.” However, the leg pulling of the director towards the producer was done in a fun-and-play manner.

While the guest list of Koffee With Karan 7 has been kept under wraps, reportedly Vijay Deverakonda will be seen with his Liger co-star Ananya Panday while Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen alongside Akshay Kumar. This has also led to some speculations that Akshay and Samantha will be collaborating on a project that might be helmed by Karan Johar himself. The hit Kabir Singh pair, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani will be seen together while it is rumored that lovebirds Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor will be seen together in the same. KJo is also said to bring his Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt on the couch together.
