Warner Bros.'s upcoming HBO Max exclusive Batgirl movie has a lot of buzz surrounding it, mainly due to the return of Micheal Keaton as Batman and the villain Firefly played by Micheal Keaton.

The movie wrapped filming in March, and we have yet to receive an official release date or teaser.

There is a strong chance we will get both at this year's San Diego Comic-Con ( SDCC ) which will be held this month.

Both Shazam! Fury of the GHods and Black Adam have been confirmed for SDCC, so it won't be surprising to see Batgirl as well.

Director duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah who helmed the sucessfull Bad Boys for Life movie as well the first episode of Ms. Marvel are in charge of the project.

However, with The Flash movie being delayed due to the controversy surrounding Ezra Miller, it still remains to be seen if the studio would keep its original 2022 release plans for the movie.

But the recent post from director Adil El Arbi on Instagram where he shared a few behind scenes maybe hint that the movie will have its debut this year.

Adil El Arbi took to Instagram to share moments between cast and crew as well as give us a good look at the costumes worn by Batgirl and Firefly in the movie.

Batgirl stars Leslie Grace , J,. K. Simmons, Jacob Scipio, Brendan Fraser, Michael Keaton , Alysia Yeoh, Rebecca Front, Corey Johnson, and Ethan Kai.
