Bigg Boss OTT 2: Awez Darbar and Mahesh Poojary to battle it out for the basic luxuries on Salman Khan's show

The excitement for Bigg Boss OTT 2 is palpable ever since a short promo was released featuring Salman Khan announcing the same. While the show is reportedly expected to start airing in July, we have some interesting developments regarding the same which will increase the anticipation surrounding the same. The second season of Bigg Boss OTT is expected to begin with contestants Awez Darbar and Mahesh Poojary battling it out for even the basic amenities.

Talking about the same, an Instagram page called Bigg Boss 16 updates which often shares news regarding the new seasons of Bigg Boss gave out some details about how the show will begin. The post said that Awez Darbar and Mahesh Poojary will begin their participation in a jungle-like set-up. The duo will be given fewer amenities in the first half of the show. They will be expected to stay in a modest jungle house that will not have any beds, sofas, and a fully furnished bathroom accompanied by a compact kitchen.

The post furthermore added that whoever remains victorious in sustaining the not-so-pleasant conditions will enter the main Bigg Boss house and will become the captain. Not only this but a VIP room will be unveiled as part of the newly established zone. The garden area will also be transformed into a mysterious and captivating jungle-like set-up.

Talking about Awez Darbar, he is a popular social media influencer and dancer. Awez enjoys a whopping 29 million followers on Instagram. He also happens to be the brother-in-law of Bigg Boss 7 winner and actress Gauahar Khan. On the other hand, Mahesh Poojary is a well-known creative producer and has worked on several TV shows, music videos, and web series. He has bankrolled music videos featuring Sidharth Shukla, Vishal Kotian, Gautam Singh Vig, Saba Khan, Donal Bisht, and others.

Meanwhile, the other speculated contestants include Anjali Arora, Poonam Pandey, Pooja Gor, Sambhavna Seth, and others. The first season of Bigg Boss OTT was hosted by Karan Johar. Actress Divya Agarwal had emerged as the winner of the same.
