    Bigg Boss OTT season 2: Not Karan Johar but Ranveer Singh to host the reality show this year?

    After making her television debut with the quiz game show The Big Picture, Ranveer Singh is all set to turn host for the digital show. As per the latest reports, the actor will be hosting the second season of the popular reality show Bigg Boss OTT. He is reportedly replacing filmmaker Karan Johar , who hosted the first season of the reality show. However, no official confirmation or announcement has yet been made.

    A source close to the development revealed that the makers have started working on the second season after the successful first season of the Bigg Boss OTT. They have finalised Ranveer since they could not get dates from Karan. Well, the actor has earlier collaborated with makers in The Big Picture which aired on Colors TV.

    A few names from the contestants' list have also been finalised. The television actors Kanchi Singh, Pooja Gor, and Mahesh Shetty are entering the Bigg Boss house. Also, controversial celebrities like Sambhavna Seth and Poonam Pandey are also in talks with the makers, however, actresses are yet to sign up.

    The first season of Bigg Boss OTT saw Divya Agarwal walk away with the winner’s trophy. While choreographer Nishant Bhatt was the first runner-up. Shamita Shetty , Raqesh Bapat , Neha Bhasin, Zeeshan Khan, Riddhima Pandit, Milind Gaba, Karan Nath, Urfi Javed , Akshara Singh, Pratik Sehajpal, and Muskaan Jattana were seen as contestants in the season last year.

    Meanwhile, Ranveer was last seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar on the silver screen. Directed by Divyang Thakkar , the film also stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani , and Ratna Pathak Shah. He will next be seen in Karan’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Alia Bhatt . He also has Rohit Shetty ’s Cirkus and the Hindi remake of Anniyan in the pipeline.
