Citadel early reviews: Rakul gushes over Priyanka Chopra & Richard Madden’s series; Sophie calls them ‘hot stuff’

Global icon and our very own desi girl, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is currently in India promoting her much awaited series Citadel along with her co-star and Hollywood actor Richard Madden . The trailer of this science fiction action thriller series left fans incredibly impressed. Priyanka and Richard’s on-screen chemistry was sizzling whereas the action sequences were just awesome. Well, ahead of the release, the team hosted a special premiere of Citadel last night which was attended by several celebrities like Varun Dhawan, the evergreen Rekha, Sunny Leone and Rakul Preet Singh amongst others.

Much to our delight, early reviews of the series are now in! Actress Rakul has given Priyanka and Richard a thumbs up. She shared, “Watched the first two episodes of Citadel yesterday and Mind is blownnnnn!! The pace, the craft, the characters, writing, scale, action everything's top notch sooo proud of @priyankachopra ! You make such a hot, badass Nadia keep inspiring and growing @maddenrichard top spy ya too cool ! @amazonprime @primevideoin bigggg congratulations.. this is hugeeeee! Priyanka’s good friend and fellow celebrity Sophie Choudry , on the other hand, called her and her co-star ‘hot stuff’. In her review, she shared, “This girl always inspiring and taking it to the next level! SO damn good in #Citadel.. She'll knock you out, literally!! Big love PC. Forever proud!! And Richard is Hot stuff too.” In another post, along with a snap of Priyanka and Richard from the premiere, Sophie wrote: “Together, they are Hot Stuff. You'll know what I mean once you see it!!”

While Priyanka and Richard are headlining the ‘mothership series’, the Indian series of this franchise will star Varun and South superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead. It will be helmed by filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. Well, after reading these early reviews, we can’t wait to binge watch Citadel when it arrives on Amazon Prime Video on 28th April.
