The upcoming reboot will serve as an extension to the critically acclaimed Netflix Daredevil series, and speaking in a recent interview Charlie Cox revealed that he does want the show to use more CGI but doesnt not want to overuse it.

The new show will also include Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin who made his MCU debut in Hawkeye and there are rumors floating around that the show will also introduce Jon Bernthal's Punisher as well.

In the show Charlie Cox will play the role of Matt Murdock a lawyer who moonlights as the crime fighter Daredevil, the title suggests that the show will be based on the comic series written by Frank Miller.

In the series, Karen Page sells Daredevil's identity to Kingpin, which leads the Kingpin to destroy Matt Murdock's life and causes the superhero to reevaluate himself as a person and a hero.

Daredevil recently had an extended cameo in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law where the two team up to stop Leap Frog and end up having a fling, speaking to GQ Charlie Cox talked about returning to the MCU and how he wanted the new show to have more CGI but "sparingly".

"I’ve learned that these questions are a little tricky because the problem with them is that if I start detailing things I’d like to do, then very quickly, it becomes a news story. It potentially gets in the minds of not only the fans but also the creators and the writers. I really want to be careful not to muddy those waters because if it turns out to be a good idea, it can be a shame because it robs the fans of that moment of discovery"

"So forgive me for being a little bit vague in this area. I guess what I would say is: hopefully, on the Disney+ show, Born Again, we will be able to use—and I hope that we do it sparingly, I believe it should be used sparingly—but we’ll hopefully be able to use a tiny bit more CGI in the action sequences. Just to emphasize his gymnastic abilities that have been basically impossible to do"

The actor's statements do make since a lot of recent MCU movies and shows have been called out for their over-reliance on CGI and most importantly decrease in the quality on display.

The idea of mixing practical and CGI effects like older MCU entries like Captain America: Winter Solider could work in the favor of the reboot.

Daredevil: Born Again in expected to stream on Disney+ in the Spring of 2024.
