Dulquer Salmaan to make his OTT debut alongside Rajkummar Rao in Raj and DK's next?

Several A-list actors seem to be trusting Raj and DK when it comes to making their OTT debuts. And why should they not- the director duo have given the audience something as good as the Family Man series. Be it Samantha Ruth Prabhu or Shahid Kapoor or Vijay Sethupathi, Raj and DK have or will be launching these stars into the world of web series. Now, it looks like another south star is all set to make his web debut with a project by Raj and DK.

We are talking about none other than Dulquer Salmaan . It was just a few days back that Raj and DK announced a new series with Rajkummar Rao. The series will stream on Netflix . Now, looks like it would also star Dulquer Salmaan alongside Rajkummar, and Adarsh Gourav who also would be a part of the comedy thriller. According to a report in Peepingmoon, this is the same project that was to star Diljit Dosanjh and Dulquer has now replaced the actor. A source added, "Dulquer Salmaan has been offered multiple web films and shows in the past two years. But he rejected them all as he wasn’t satisfied with the subjects that were coming his way. He was looking for a certain kind of project to mark his OTT debut and Raj & DK’s offer had it all. It’s a big-scale, intriguing thriller peppered with the usual Raj & DK comic undertones and revolves around three lead characters. Salmaan plays one of the lead roles in this comedy-thriller series, alongside Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav." 

Well, that's a casting that can get anyone super interested. Needless to say, we are super excited about this one and are looking forward to its release. The shoot is already on in Dehradun and Dulquer will join once he recovers from COVID.
