Emilia Clarke's role in Marvel's upcoming Secret Invasion finally revealed

    Squashing a lot of internet rumors about the Game of Thrones actor's role in the upcoming series, the official Tenor account of the show revealed who Emila Clarke will be playing. (Spoilers below)

    Initially, rumors suggested that Emilia Clarke who will be making her MCU debut in the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion would be playing a Skrull called G'iah.

    But the official Tenor account for the show posted a GIF featuring Clarke's character, and the file is named "Its The Beginning Abigail Brand GIF."

    In the comics, Abigail Brand is the head of Sword, the organization which took over the duties of SHIELD after the events of Captain America: Winter Soldier.

    Brans is a half-human raised on the planet of Axus and is also a mutant who has the power of Pyrokinesis, which allows her to create and manipulate fire.

    While mutants have been acknowledged to exist within the MCU, they have not made their debut and so it will be interesting to see how the series handles hr origins and whether or not she possesses any powers.

    But what we do know for a fact is that the actor will be playing a larger role in the future of the MCU.

    We won't have to wait too long to find out more details about her role and serves as the studio is most likely planning on releasing another trailer for the show in the near future.

    Secret Invasion follows Nick Fury and his mission to stop a fanatical group of Skrulls who have infiltrated all aspects of life on Earth.

    The cast of the show includes Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle.

    Secret Invasion is set to be released on Disney+ in early 2023.
