Exclusive: Karan Wahi calls himself a 'dinosaur' as he shares his experience on Never Kiss Your Best Friend S2 sets

ZEE5 ’s quirky web show, Never Kiss Your Best Friend had instantly struck a chord with the audience, and now for the second season, TV heartthrob Karan Wahi joins the star cast. In an exclusive interview with Desimartini, Karan Wahi spoke on whether he faced any fun ragging or leg-pulling by his co-actors from the show, Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh . The actor also jokingly called himself the ‘dinosaur’ of Indian television since he has been in the industry for a very long time now.

Talking about the same, Karan Wahi said, “I don't think so Iss dinosaur Ko Koi rag Kar Payega. It's just a thought that we have that when you're a newcomer on the set of a film or a show, people rag you. I think it’s quite the opposite because when you come on board, you become friends with everyone, it resonates on screen rather than the ragging part. Ragging Hum Karte Hai Anya (Singh) Ki (laughs).”

Karan Wahi furthermore joked while he and Nakuul Mehta did some fun ragging and pranks with their co-star Anya Singh, they flirted with actress Nikki Walia who plays Anya’s mother in Never Kiss Your Best Friend Season 2. The actor said, “Hum Ma (Nikki Walia) Ke Saath Flirt Karte Hai Aur Beti Ko Rag Karte Hain (We flirt with the mother and rag the daughter).” The actor furthermore said that he wanted to be a part of the second season after he had watched and loved the first season of the ZEE5 show.

In a statement, Karan Wahi had said, “When I watched S1, I thought to myself – What a fun and relatable show this is in an era of crime thrillers and action drama. So, when I was offered to be a part of S2, I jumped at the opportunity, and what a ride it has been. I am confident of the final product and am extremely excited for you’ll to catch us soon on ZEE5”. The show also stars Nakuul Mehta, Anya Singh, Javed Jaffrey, and Sara Jane Dias in the lead roles and will be streaming on ZEE5 from April 29.
