Shahid Kapoor ’s digital debut Farzi has caught the eye of the audience with its ‘farzi trailer’. The fans who can’t wait to discover more about the Amazon Prime Video show were today blown away by the hilarious trailer announcement as they got scammed into believing that the trailer of Frazi had dropped.

The video which features a fake Shahid Kapoor in action mode at the very onset really had the audience believing that it was the real trailer for a few seconds. Things become clear as the real Shahid enters the frame and puts an end to the hilarious fake trailer shoot for his show and announces the real date for the launch of the trailer.

This ‘Frazi’ trailer seems to have had many victims who couldn’t help voice their hilarious experience on Twitter and lauded the promotional tactic of actually releasing a fake trailer. The trailer announcement has really given the hype around the show a positive direction and people now can’t wait to watch the real trailer which drops on January 13.

People also couldn’t help re-share a hilarious hoarding of Amazon Prime Video promoting the show which read, “Asli trailer mangoge Farzi trailer denge.” A few are hilariously also calling this spin on the title of the series the ‘scam of 2023’.

The web series starring Shahid will see him playing an artist and the intense first looks of the cast have already made the fans curious. The crime thriller series directed by duo Raj and DK also stars actor Vijay Sethupathi in a key role along with Kay Kay Menon and Raashi Khanna.

Farzi was shot during the pandemic years in Mumbai and Goa. The project has been in the news extensively since it was announced as it marks the digital debut of the Kabir Singh star. The web series is slated to arrive on Amazon Prime Video on February 10, 2023.
