    The MCU finds Iron Man replacement in actress Dominique Thorne taking forward Tony Stark's mantle playing Ironheart in a new Disney+ series.

    After Robert Downey left the role of Iron Man post- Avengers: Endgame , the question on everyone's mind was who could replace him. Marvel was quick to confirm that they had no plans to replace the actor but introduce his successor from the comics Ironheart.

    In the comics, Ironheart aka Riri William's is a 15-year-old engineering student who catches the eye of Tony Stark after she creates a suit similar to his and with Tony's guidance she takes on the role of Iron Heart.

    While it had been confirmed that actress Dominique Thorne will be playing the role and would appear in the next Black Panther movie, now it seems she will be getting her own show on Disney +.

    The show will contain 6 episodes and is being written by Chinaka Hodge who previously worked on the science fiction show Snowpiercer.

    There are rumors that Iron Heart will face off against the child of Obadiah Stane who was the villain of the first Iron Man movie and played by actor Jeff Bridges.

    While we don't the reason for the rivalry between the two or if any other characters from the Iron Man movies will make an appearance, it will be interesting to see the direction the show goes with it.

    The series is still to go on floors or even set a release date. For now, in Marvel's lineup are series including Moon Knight , She-Hulk , Secret Invasion, Ms. Marvel which will release in 2022. 

    Among the films, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever , The Marvels , Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania are set to release between 2022 and 2023.
