Jamie Fox to return as Electro in Spider-Man spinoff series after No Way Home

With the massive success of Spider-Man : No Way Home, it seems that a new spinoff series focusing on the villain Electro is in the works. Actor Jamie Foxx reprised his role from 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and redeemed his character by giving a scene-stealing performance in the new installment, so it would be no surprise that Marvel would want to cash in on the success of the movie and with three other Spider-Man spinoffs in the works like Kraven the Hunter, Madame Web and Spider-Woman well that is according to Murphy's Multiverse.

While there is no official announcement from Marvel, the new spinoff could have a huge impact as we could also see Andrew Garfield return in some capacity in the new series as a friend and guide, because No Way Home did in its own way reboot the Amazing Spider-Man franchise and if the series ends up happening this would be the perfect way to bring Garfield's version of Spider-Man back to the big screen.

Well, for now we have to wait for an official confirmation from Marvel on the future of Electro in the MCU.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, which has Tom Holland playing the friendly neighborhood superhero for the third time is all about fans getting to see how he saves face as the world gets to know his real identity. A misfired spell by Doctor Strange puts a target on Peter Parker's back and brings the many supervillains from the multiverse together to endanger the world.

The film which is an ode to the other Spider-Man movies from the past has been raking in good business globally with the movie already having crossed the 600 million dollar mark at the box office in just one weekend.
