Koffee With Karan 7: Sonam Kapoor tries to compensate for trolling Ranbir Kapoor with Deepika Padukone all those years ago

Many years ago, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja graced the koffee couch with fellow actress Deepika Padukone for season 3 of Koffee With Karan. Till date, it is one of the most controversial episodes of the chat show because the two Bollywood beauties took several digs at Ranbir Kapoor , who was Deepika’s ex and Sonam’s first co-star. While Deepika had suggested that he should endorse a condom brand, Sonam had stated that the actor needs a stylist and added that he would not make a good boyfriend.

Well, this season Sonam will return to the koffee couch with her actor brother Arjun Kapoor . In the exciting promo which is out now, the mother-to-be is glowing! But it also looks like she is compensating for what happened in season 3. In the teaser, when Karan Johar asks who the man of the moment is according to her, Sonam replies, “Ranbir is the best.” She goes on to add, “Yeah, because I’m seeing him everywhere. He’s promoting Ayan’s film.” KJo asked her to name the film and instead of Brahmāstra she said ‘Shiva number 1’ leaving the filmmaker and Arjun in splits.

In the episode, we will also see Arjun talk about his girlfriend Malaika Arora . When KJo will ask what the actress’ name is saved as on his phone, Arjun will reveal that he really likes her name so it is saved as Malaika. Arjun will go on to share the most annoying thing about Sonam-- she doesn’t wait for anyone to give her a compliment and instead compliments herself. To this the actress replies that it comes from being Anil Kapoor’s daughter.

Well, this episode is surely going to be a riot!
