Lock Upp: Kangana Ranaut saves Poonam Pandey; eliminated contestant Ali Merchant hopes Munawar Faruqui wins

Last night’s judgment day episode of Lock Upp was an extremely heartbreaking one. To save Saisha Shinde, Munawar Faruqui revealed his secret where he shared that he was molested from the age of 6 till the time he was 11 years old by two of his relatives. Host Kangana Ranaut praised him for being brave and revealed that she too had been inappropriately touched when she was a child. Moved by their stories, Saisha also recalled her traumatic experience. While Saisha and Munawar were safe from eliminations, it was announced that Ali Merchant and Poonam Pandey had ended up in the bottom two.

When asked if she wants to give herself a second chance, Poonam said yes. Kangana told her to give the game her best before moving her attention to Ali. She joked that he is harmless and he agreed that he is a ‘goodass’ not a ‘badass’, which is required for the jail. The host saved Poonam and decided to evict Ali. Before he left, she shared, “When you joined the game, I thought you won't last a week but you proved everyone wrong. You have come this far in the game. But if I have to make a choice between Poonam and you, I will lock you out.”

Post his eviction from the show, in an interaction with the paparazzi, Ali shared that he wants his good buddy and fellow kaidi Munawar to win the first season of Lock Upp. Talking about jailor Karan Kundrra , Ali stated, “Karan khatarnaak hai, bohot pyaara hai, bohot zyaada motivate karta hai hum logo ko toh bohot maza aata hai. Jab bhi woh andar aata hai, humein sahi raasta dikhaata hai.”

In your opinion, who deserved to be eliminated this week-- Poonam or Ali?
