Lock Upp: Zeeshan Khan issues a statement after being ousted from the show, says 'we live in a equal world'

His elimination from the show received a mixed reaction from the masses. Now, Zeeshan has taken to his social media handle to issue a statement for the first time since he has left the show.

    Zeeshan Khan was recently ousted from Kangana Ranaut ’s controversial reality show Lock Upp after he physically assaulted Azma Fallah . His elimination from the show received a mixed reaction from the masses. Now, Zeeshan has taken to his social media handle to issue a statement for the first time since he has left the show.

    Talking about the same, Zeeshan Khan wrote, “I just wanna start with a big THANK YOU. My heart is full of gratitude today after seeing so much support. It gives me immense joy to see all the videos and messages that you guys have been sending me into my DMS and tell me how I stood up for the right. And this itself means a lot to me. End of the day winning hearts is more important than winning the show and the fact that I won the hearts of millions of ya’ll is a huge victory for me itself." Take a look at his statement.

    The former Bigg Boss OTT contestant furthermore said that he was defending the two most important women in his life during his altercation with Azma Fallah referring to his mother and girlfriend Reyhna Pandit. Zeeshan Khan went on to add, “I agree things went out of hand and I apologize for the same and meant it even when I apologized inside. If abuse on a woman is wrong, I stood for 2 most imp women in my life who were being verbally and mentally abused for 2 weeks and weren’t there to defend themselves.”

    Lastly, Zeeshan admitted his mistake but stressed on the fact that Azma was also wrong from her side. The actor said, “A pen is always mightier than the sword and hence my actions were wrong but even the person in this case, her actions over the period of 2 weeks were wrong too…We live in a equal word. That’s all that I would like to say.” Zeeshan Khan was removed from the show by jailor Karan Kundrra after he pushed Azma Fallah and hit her with a broomstick, being infuriated by her instigations.
