    Sebastian stan is currently promoting his new series Pam and Tommy, a biopic on the life of actress Pamela Anderson and musician Tommy Lee and their turbulent relationship.

    For a while now Star Wars fans have compared pictures of young Mark Hamil and Sebastian Stan and have wanted him to play the role of Luke Skywalker in the new Star Wars show by Disney such as The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

    While Luke Skywalker did have a cameo appearance in the last season of the Mandalorian but this was a de-aged version of Mark Hamil and fans did point out the lack of quality in the CGI.

    There are memes on the internet that say that Both Mark Hammil and Sebastian Stan are actually father and son as they do share an uncanny resemblance.

    In the interview, Stan mentions that both of the actors are aware of the jokes and play along with them and refer to each other as father and son whenever the topic is brought up. He also revealed that the two of them are friends and stay in touch.

    In the interview with Esquire, the actor on being asked about playing Luke Skywalker said, "Look, it's really kind. Never say never. Mark Hamill is my father, you know, and he knows that, and I call him every Christmas to tell him, 'Just want you to know I'm around.' It's really terrifying."

    While Disney has not made any announcements of a movie or series featuring the adventures of a young Luke Skywalker, it is clear that Star Wars fans would love to see Sebastian Stan in the role and it would seem that even Mark Hammil would approve of this choice.

    Sebastian Stan is a versatile actor while mostly known for his role as the Winter Soldier in the MCU. The actor has also garnered acclaim for his roles in movies like Logan Lucky and I Tonya and would be a great addition to the Star Wars universe.
