    According to a new report, the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney+ will also see the return of a fan-favorite character

    The Obi-Wan series in the works has a lot of Star Wars fans excited. Recent reports surrounding the series now suggest the presence of another famous Jedi Master in this Star Wars spin-off. 

    According to the report Qui-Gon Jinn is rumored to appear in the show. Qui-Gon played by Liam Neeson made his first appearance in the 1999 Star Wars Episode 1 -The Photoman Mence and was Obi-Wan's Jedi Master and the one who discovers Anakin Skywalker and his strong connection to the Force and decides to train him.

    Obi-Wan is set ten years after the events of Star Wars Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith and is set in the desert planet of Tattoine as the Jedi master watches over the young Luke Skywalker.

    The return of Qui-Gon is not surprising as it was hinted at the end of Revenge of the Sith, and will probably appear as a Force Ghost to advise and train Obi-Wan.

    Ewan Mcgregor who will be reprising his role as the famous Jedi Master will also be serving as an executive producer for the show. Initially, Disney planned on making a movie around Obi-Wan, that plan was dropped and was reworked into a series for Disney+.

    The show also marks the return of Hayden Christian who will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader , President of Lucas Films Kathleen Kennedy has promised fans that Obi-Wan and his former apprentice Darth Vader will have an epic showdown in the series, something that fans have been asking for years.

    Actors Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse will also be reprising their roles as uncle Ben and aunt Beru Lars, who take in and raise young Luke Skywalker as their own. There are also reports that say we may see the charter of Bail Organa who is the adoptive mother of Leia, luke's twin sister.

    The rest of the cast includes Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, Benny Safdie, Maya Erskine, and Rory Ross.

    Obi-Wan Kenobi will consist of six episodes and will stream on Disney+ on May 25, 2022.
