Ram Madhvani opens up about Aarya 3; co-director Vinod Rawat reveals ‘Ram wants to make 10 seasons’

When it was announced that Sushmita Sen will make her comeback with Ram Madhvani ’s crime-thriller drama series Aarya , fans were over the moon with joy. The show obviously received great reviews thanks to the incredible performances, gripping story-line and the star cast, which fit together perfectly! There was just one problem-- we just got 9 episodes! The audience was hooked and was left wanting more. Much to our delight, the makers soon announced that season 2 is in the making. Well, Sushmita is now all set to return as Aarya Sareen with Aarya 2, which will premiere on Disney + Hotstar this week.

Even before season 2 has released, many are already hoping that makers begin work on Aarya 3 . Well, in a recent chat with Mid Day, Madhvani explained how they decided to start planning Aarya 2. He was quoted saying, “The original, Penoza (a Dutch drama series) had five seasons but the greenlighting power is not in our hands, it's in the audience's hands. It’s not even in Disney+Hotstar’s hands. When we got so much love in season 1, the audience asked for more.” Co-director Vinod Rawat chimed in to add, “The truth is Ram wants to make 10 seasons, then Penoza will copy us.”

Well, as Madhvani has already clarified, the next season will be planned after the audience gives a positive reaction to Aarya 2. However, he went on to add, “We will only know about season 3 depending on the love we receive for season 2, but like I said the show is meant to have 5 seasons minimum.”

We are sure makers will soon begin work on the third season of Aarya because by the looks of Aarya 2’s trailer, it’s definitely going to be a hit!
