The Boy's season 3 new promo teases another clash between Homelander and Soldier Boy and the return of Queen Maeve

In last week's episode, we saw Soldier Boy, Butcher and Hughie take on Homelander in an epic clash, with ended with Homelander barely escaping death by flying away.

He also saw A-Train brutally kill Blue Hawk and of course, the last scene was Starlight revealing the truth about The Seven and Vought and telling the world the truth about Homelander.

The new promo shows Butcher and Hugie tracking the next member of Soldier Boy's team and Soldier Boy taking out his anger on someone, who is at the receiving end of his wrath remains to be seen.

We also see Maevemake her return, while she does seem to be okay it is clear that she is being held captive somewhere, similar to what happened to Starlight in the previous season.

We see her and Homelander talking and telling him she knows he is afraid for his life., it will be interesting to see how this plays out as Homelander isn't known for accepting criticism.

The upcoming seventh episode will be called “Here Comes a Candle to Light You to Bed,” and will explore Billy Butcher's traumatic past.

The title may be hinting at his childhood and relationship with his abusive father and his younger brother.

So there is a lot to look forward to seeing in the next episode.
