The first teaser trailer for Gen V was launched at CCXP this year, and it looks like a worthy addition to The Boys universe.

The first teaser trailer for the spinoff is just one minute and 24 seconds and gives us a few quick glimpses at what we can expect, there is the franchise's trademark blood and gore on display and we are sure it shares the same sense of humor as The Boys .

From what little we do know about the plot the series will focus on Marie played by Jaz Sinclair, who is a young Supe and new addition to Vought Industries Godolkin University.

At the university young Supes train to become the best and earn a spot among Vought'd top superheroes and maybe even secure a spot in The Seven, however from the teaser it is clear that the students don't always engage in healthy competition.

So we can expect a lot of backstabbing and sabotage as Marie navigates her way through university life.

It is also clear that we will have a few cameos from the cast of The Boys including Jessie T. Usher who plays A-Train no doubt there to encourage the young students and Colby Minifie who plays Ashley Barrett most likely searching for the next big prospect to join The Seven.

The series is developed by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters with Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg serving as Executive Producers.

The series takes place during the events of Season 3 of The Boys where Billy has teamed up with Soldier Boy to take on Homelander

The cast of the show includes Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pigossi, Clancy Brown, Alexander Calvert and Jason Ritter.

Gen V doesnt have an official release date but is expected to release sometime early next year followed by Season 4 of The Boys which is currently in production.
