Aditya Narayan and wife Shweta welcome a baby girl, singer shares the good news

Singer Aditya Narayan and his wife Shweta Agarwal have welcomed a baby girl. Their daughter was born on February 24 and Aditya is over the moon about being a father. The singer has now in an interview stated that while everyone around him told him that he’d have a boy he secretly hoped for a girl and is happy that he got his wish.

Aditya had announced on social media in January that he and Shweta were expecting their first child together and exactly a month later their daughter was born. He took to social media today to share a picture with Shweta from their wedding and wrote, “Feel blessed to share that my wife Shweta has blessed us with a beautiful baby daughter.”

The singer in an interview with Bombay Times has said that he was there in the delivery room when his daughter was born. Talking about the magical moment he said, “I was with Shweta when she delivered, and I seriously feel that only a woman can show the kind of strength and perseverance to go through this and bring a child into this world. My love and respect for Shweta has doubled now. A woman goes through many things when she delivers a child and even during the pregnancy phase.”

Aditya also confessed that his daughter has his eyes and resembles him. He also spoke about his father Udit Narayan ’s joy on becoming a grandfather and said that he was initially hesitant in taking the little one in his arms and after placing her in his lap one day he has now found the confidence to play with her. Udit Narayan calls his granddaughter angel.

Aditya says he sings to his daughter and that music is in her DNA but only time will tell if she follows her father and grandfather into the world of music when she grows up.
