‘Archana wasn’t wrong’: Rajiv Adatia and fans lash out after Karan Johar calls the Bigg Boss 16 star ‘disgusting’

During the first round of the torture task, season 16 contestants Archana Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary had to face insecticide sprays, detergent, ice packs and were even poked in the ear by Shiv Thakare and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia . But last night when the Mandali was at the receiving end, Bigg Boss stopped the task midway. Well, tonight on Weekend Ka Vaar host Karan Johar will accuse Archana of taking out her personal grudges in the task. He will slam her for wasting food and will go on to call her behaviour ‘disgusting’. But netizens do not agree.

Many fans have come out in Archana’s support on social media and are accusing KJo of targeting her. One netizen tweeted: “#KaranJohar shouting at #ArchanaGautam is not fair . Look at the faces of #Archana & #PriyankaChaharChoudhury all bruised . Just because #NimritKaurAhluwalia is a cry baby doesn't mean the other team didn't suffer .Yesthrowing of bucket & mug was unacceptable.#BB16.” Season 15’s Rajiv Adatia also defended Archana’s actions and wrote: “Last season I had powder, chilli put in a pan and blown in my face, soap, garbage bags, flour, in my eyes my throat! My throat got burnt and was on tablets in the house! It was bad 7 hours straight! I didn’t complain! That was the task to get me up! Archana was not wrong here!”

A night before the task, Archana had prepared by keeping soap water in her room overnight and even got buckets of ice ready. But Nimrit along with Sumbul Touqeer Khan got rid of everything ahead of the torture task. As a result, Archana had to use the leftover meat which was kept in the fridge. She apologized for wasting food and even revealed that the meat had gone bad, but Bigg Boss punished the entire house for her actions by canceling the weekly ration. However, no action was taken against Nimrit when she tried to physically remove Priyanka’s hand from the buzzer during the task.
