Shark Tank India fame Ashneer Grover received an emotional letter from Rakhi Pal, one of the co-founders of student community start-up Eventbeep. She called the Bharatpe co-founder a ‘hero’ and ‘inspiration for millions’ while attributing her success to him.

For the unversed, during the show, Rakhi revealed that she is secretly doing business as her family would not approve of her career choices. However, she later told her family and they promptly disowned her.

Now, Ashneer took to his Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures of his meeting with Rakhi. The pictures also included a handwritten letter from the entrepreneur. He captioned the post as “It’s nice to meet up with the @eventbeepindia kids from @sharktank.india and see them ploughing through. Super happy that Rakhi Pal is back with her family ! #sharktankindia.”

Soon after Ashneer’s fellow judge Anupam Mittal took to the comment section and wrote, “inspiring bro.” Meanwhile, netizens also followed and praised Ashneer for empowering others. “Seriously heartwarming to see them doing great and for Rakhi to finally get her family’s support too,” one user wrote. “More power to you to empower others,” added another.

Meanwhile, Start-up Eventbeep received funding from not only Ashneer but Lenskart cofounder Peyush Mittal and boAt co-founder Aman Mittal on the show. Ashneer specifically threw in another Rs 10 lakh to buy a stake in Rakhi’s shares.
