‘Bewakoof aurat’: Rakhi Sawant gets brutally slammed by netizens for breaking roza with chewing gum

A few months ago, before getting married to Adil Khan Durrani, actress and dancer Rakhi Sawant decided to convert to Islam. Before this, she had embraced Christianity. Many accused her of changing her religion as a means of making headlines. But a few days ago, Rakhi proudly shared that she was observing Ramadan and is fasting all day long every day. She even hit back at haters asking her to wear a burka and sit home instead of stepping out. Even in the beginning of the month, Rakhi had announced that she will dedicatedly observe roza.

This is why her latest interaction with the paparazzi comes as a big shocker. While talking to the shutterbugs at the airport, Rakhi revealed that she broke her roza by mistake. She looked quite sad while she blamed all the travelling for this. Rakhi stated, “Mera roza toot gaya. Mera roza toot gaya. Travelling mein (My roza broke, while travelling).” When asked if she ate something, Rakhi replied, “Galti se chewing gum kha liya (I ate chewing gum by mistake).” She went on to show the gum which was still in her mouth.

In the comment section below, many pointed out that anybody can make a mistake. However, most netizens are not happy with the way Rakhi continued to chew the gum despite knowing that she had broken her roza. One social media user wrote: “Bevkuf 😡 jab galti se kha hi liya tha to thunk deti fek deti to roza ni Tut ta abhi tk khaye jari h to tutega hi sahi😒”, whereas another comment read, “Aise Logo Ka Allah Roza accept bhi nhi karte hai.” A third netizen called her ‘bewakoof aurat’ while another wrote: “Koi isko Afghanistan me chord ke aao yaar..”
