Bharti Singh clarifies she has not welcomed a daughter yet; says ‘I am feeling scared, due date is near’

Back in December last year, comedian Bharti Singh and her writer husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa announced that they are expecting their first child. Fans were over the moon with joy for the happy couple and were ecstatic when the mommy-to-be recently shared snaps from her maternity shoot. In a behind the scenes clip from the photoshoot, Bharti had revealed that she’s shooting for The Khatra Khatra Show and is expecting the baby to arrive any day now. She had also requested fans to suggest baby names as well.

Since the past few days, a rumor was going around stating that Bharti and Haarsh have been blessed with a baby girl. Well, the comedy queen took to her official social media handle on 31st March to clarify that there is no truth to these reports. During a live interaction, she shared, “I have been receiving messages and calls from loved ones congratulating me. There's news that I have welcomed a baby girl. But it's not true. I am on the sets of Khatra Khatra. There was a break for 15-20 minutes. So I decided to come live and clarify that I am still working.”

She went on to add, “I am feeling scared. The due date is near. Harsh and I talk about the baby and wonder who he/she will take after. But one thing for sure, the baby is going to be funny because both of us are funny.” Well, we can definitely agree that Haarsh and Bharti’s baby will have a killer sense of humor. We are super excited to see the two embark on the journey of parenthood and wish them only the best!
