Bigg Boss 15: Post eviction, Devoleena roots for Pratik Sehajpal; will miss finale because of spine surgery

Back in season 13, Devoleena Bhattacharjee had made an emergency exit from the Bigg Boss house after she suffered from a back injury. She returned to the show for season 15 as a wildcard contestant a few months ago, to once again compete for the trophy. Fans saw a different side of the ‘bahu bani babe’ and lauded her for being more headstrong this season. She won hearts by taking a stand for things she felt were right and also made headlines when she admitted having a crush on housemate Pratik Sehajpal. Netizens loved their chemistry and soon #Praleena was trending on social media. Sadly, Devoleena was evicted from the reality show just a week before the grand finale.

Even post her eviction, Devoleena continues to root for Pratik and is hoping that he will win this season. Well, even if that does happen, the actress will sadly not be a part of the grand finale to witness it with other ex contestants. The reason behind this is that Devoleena will be undergoing spine surgery for nerve decompression this week. Sharing the same with fans, Devo tweeted: “Yes, wont be able to attend finale due to my surgery. Now i feel you all almost know me. What i need is your prayers. It has immense power. I will bounce back soon.”

For the uninitiated, Devoleena got injured during a ticket to finale task when she stood by a pole for over 19 long hours, while competing against Rashami Desai . She fell to the ground and lost the task when Nishant Bhat splashed a bucket full of water on her legs. The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya star got hurt during the fall and had trouble walking for the rest of the season. Well, we wish Devoleena good luck for her surgery and hope she recovers soon!
