Bigg Boss 16: Gauahar Khan blames Priyanka Chahar Choudhary for Soundarya Sharma's eviction, netizens stand divided

In the last episode of Bigg Boss 16 , contestant Soundarya Sharma was eliminated among the nominated contestants Shalin Bhanot, Tina Datta, and Sumbul Touqeer Khan. This time host Salman Khan gave the task of eviction to her fellow contestants, and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was the first to pick Soundarya’s name considering she was the least involved contestant on the show. Shiv Thakare and Nimrit also supported her decision while Archana Gautam fought for Soundarya’s eviction. Eventually, Soundarya walked out of the house, but former Bigg Boss winner Gauahar felt it was an unfair eviction.

Taking to Twitter, Gauahar blamed Priyanka to drive this decision in order to lessen competition in the house. She also disagreed with housemates who perceived Soundarya to be a less involved contestant in the house. Just by having relationship issues u don’t become involved in a show . Soundarya has been most involved in everything. She stood out as an individual. The housemates r so wrong in how they perceive involvement!” In another tweet, she added, “Priyanka drove this decision, to get Soundarya out, I wonder if lesser women around means lesser competition. I do not agree at all with shiv n Priyanka. Soundarya was stronger than most in there !”

On the other hand, Twitterati stands divided by Gauahar’s narrative on Soundarya’s eviction. One of the users hit back at her saying, “Also don't agree with the narrative that lesser women around is lesser competition. That would mean she would send Tina out who apparently has a stronger fanbase than Soundarya. And from when did BB start becoming women to women competition anyway? :)” While another user said, “What if her scenes were edited?.. read this... people come here to establish... not for character assassination... Meanwhile, Soundarya said that she was shocked by the housemates taking her name in the eviction. Talking to a news portal after her elimination, she was quoted as saying, "Firstly, this eviction didn't happen by public voting; the housemates took my name. But I wasn't shocked because I didn't come with any expectations. It was a journey for me and every journey ends at some point. Bigg Boss has been an amazing experience for me."
