Bigg Boss 16: Gautam Vig & netizens wonder why Nimrit didn’t take offence at Sajid calling her ‘depression ki murat’

During a recent task in Bigg Boss 16 , Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia lost her cool at Shalin Bhanot when he said he has ‘mental issues’. She took it as a dig at her battle with depression and threatened to sue him next time he makes fun of her mental health. Well, in a new promo, Nimrit suffered from an emotional breakdown. Shiv Thakare , Abdu Rozik and Sumbul Touqeer Khan tried to calm her down, while Sajid Khan sat at a distance. The filmmaker then said, “Nimrit yaar, depression ki murat.” Instead of blasting him like she slammed Shalin, Nimrit complained to Sajid that he doesn’t give her enough time when she needs him.

Well, several netizens have called out the Choti Sarrdaarni star for her double standards on social media. Evicted contestant Gautam Vig, who was Nimrit’s former BFF on the show, has also pointed it out in his latest tweet. He shared, “DEPRESSION KI MURAT said by #SajidKhan has conviniently become unoffensive for #NimritKaurAhluwalia.” Meanwhile another angry netizen’s post read: “Sajid to Nimrit: Depression ki Murat! Abb ye offensive nahi tha #NimritKaurAhluwalia ?? But ye toh Sajid ne bola hai... Unke khilaaf aap kaise khade ho skti ho?”

During her stay in Salman Khan ’s reality show, Nimrit has opened up about her battle with anxiety and depression a few times. She has also mentioned that she was on medication for some time but stopped it herself, which is why some days it is difficult for her to cope with everything happening around her. Well, mental health is a serious topic and not something to joke about. This is why fans are not only calling out Nimrit for being a hypocrite, but are also disgusted at Sajid for making such a nasty comment about his good friend.
