Bigg Boss 16: Hate them or love them, the Mandali indeed left a strong impact this season

As the Bigg Boss 16 is fast inching towards its grand finale on February 12, 2023, the season has proven to be very successful and memorable for several reasons. One of them being the relationships that have been made on this show be it friendships, enmity, love, etc. One such relationship was the squad named Mandali consisting of housemates Sajid Khan , Shiv Thakare , MC Stan , Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia , Abdu Rozik , and Subul Touqeer Khan.

This group has been quite popular yet controversial at the same time during their stint on the show. However, love them or hate them, none of the fans of this season can deny that the Mandali left a strong impact on the show. Their fiercely territorial and united stance in the game affected the game of all the other contestants of the show. Many contestants have indirectly or directly taken the help of the Mandali to benefit themselves during the captaincy or the nominations.

The Mandali has been a strong force such that only two members of the squad have been eliminated due to fewer votes while the others had to exit the show due to professional commitments. The Mandali members did have some separate priorities when it came to friendships. It originally started with Sajid, Shiv, Abdu, and Stan but due to Sajid’s fondness for Sumbul and Shiv’s close bond with Nimrit, these two girls also made themselves a part of the group. Even though not all the Mandali members were volatile in their personalities, their united forefront and protectiveness for each other made them a force to be reckoned with.

The irony is that the group’s name started with a taunt by contestants like Archana Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary but the group soon took the very definition of the term in their stride. Contestants like Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Sumbul Touqeer Khan who were evicted recently from the show have been manifesting for a Mandali member to win the show. It will now be interesting to see whether the two existing Mandali members in the competition namely Shiv Thakare and MC Stan will be able to win the trophy.
