The Bigg Boss 16 journey seems to have taken off on a friendly note for all the 16 celebrity contestants locked inside the house. The new season which kicked off on Saturday, saw a new set of contestants getting locked inside the controversial house together for 105 days and in a single day, new friendships have been forged inside the ‘circus’ themed house.
Filmmaker Sajid Khan and singer and boxer Abdu Rozik seem to be getting along well according to a recently released promo of the show. Abdu who hails from Tajikistan and is not very good with communicating in Hindi sought Sajid’s help to appeal to Bigg Boss to give him a small set of dumbbells to be able to do his exercises.
Obliging him, Sajid made an entertaining appeal to Bigg Boss for the same and said, “Bigg Boss dekho ye humare desh ka mehmaan hai. Agar ye bol raha hai ki chota chota weights dedo toh why wait, just send the weights. Ok? Good night.”
Sajid and Abdu both have created quite a stir online with their participation in Bigg Boss 16. While Abdu was the first confirmed contestant of the season, Sajid’s last minute confirmation has created a big controversy on social media.
The filmmaker who was the last contestant to enter the Bigg Boss 16 house on Saturday, revealed that he has been sitting jobless t home for four years after work offers dried up owing to the Me Too accusations against him. He further added that the Housefull franchise was snatched away from him and he was even denied the credit of directing Housefull 4 in 2018.
Sajid also got former contestant Shehnaaz Gill’s vote of confidence as his ‘younger sister’ who will will soon be working with him in a film starring John Abraham and Nora Fatehi.
