Bigg Boss 16: Shalin to seek his mother's advice and rekindle friendship with Sumbul? Is this the end of ShaTina?

The ongoing family week of Bigg Boss 16 witnessed some twists apart from the emotional reunion of the contestants with their loved ones. Yesterday (January 11)’s episode saw Shalin Bhanot ’s mother Sunita Bhanot enter the house and she was seen advising her son on his current stint in the game. In the middle of all this, she was seen rather impressed by Sumbul Touqeer Khan and largely vary of Tina Datta .

The episode saw Shalin’s mother warn him against Tina, calling the actress extremely fake. She was also seen saying how the Uttaran actress does everything for the camera but throws Shalin under the bus. Indirectly, she hinted to her son that he must stop his on-and-off equation with Tina and should separate from her for good.

However, while Shalin’s mother was seen as extremely critical of Tina, she was warm and loving towards Sumbul. She told Sumbul that the fans used to love her friendship with Shalin and that they should give their equation another chance. The Imlie actress was also informed by Shalin’s mother that her father had said some inappropriate things against Shalin but that was only said from a point of concern and protectiveness for his daughter.

Now, it will be interesting to see whether Shalin Bhanot will seek his mother’s advice and give his friendship with Sumbul Touqeer Khan another chance. The actor can also be seen almost to have done and dusted his relationship with Tina Datta. He was seen telling her how they should just part ways for good on the show and just remain competitors. On the other hand, Tina’s mother Madhumita Datta who had graced the show was seen telling her how Shalin has no love or friendship toward her. In the upcoming episode, Shalin will be seen telling Simi Grewal that he will anytime choose anything else over Tina at this point in the game.
