Dheeraj Dhoopar takes a break from saas-bahu sagas with a new show featuring Surbhi Chandna after exiting Kundali Bhagya

Dheeraj Dhoopar fans are still not over his sudden exit from the show Kundali Bhagya and reports of him landing a new daily soap have already begun doing the rounds. While it was earlier reported that the actor who plays Karan Luhtra on Kundali Bhagya had apparently quit the show for bigger opportunities in the films and web series sphere but now reports suggest that he will be seen romancing Surbhi Chandna in a new TV show.

The actor is apparently all set to break away from saas bahu sagas in Saurabh Tewari’s next show titled Sherdil Shergill (SS) according to an ETimes report.

While an official announcement on the show is still awaited, Dheeraj’s new show will reportedly go on floors in two weeks. A source of the publication has claimed that the show is a romantic-comedy involving the actors who come from different backgrounds and ideologies.

Dheeraj Dhoopar who was paired opposite Shraddha Arya on his previous show recently confirmed in an interview with the same publication that his exit from Kundali Bhagya happened to coincide with his plans of exploring bigger opportunities. Dheeraj also admitted that for the past year and a half he had been working towards exploring opportunities in films and web series.

Meanwhile, a few portals maintain that Dheeraj will re-enter Kundali Bhagya after a gap of a few months and that the announcement of his exit are ruse to keep the surprise element alive.

After Dheeraj’s exit, actor Shakti Arora as been introduced as the new lead on Kundali Bhagya but he is not a replacement for the actor and instead playing a whole new character.
