Actor and former Bigg Boss 3 winner Vindu Dara Singh is currently basking in the success of his recently released film Forensic . The actor who won Bigg Boss in the year 2009 has been since then following the show closely and has also been giving his opinion on the contestants despite being trolled by some fans of the show. In an exclusive interview with Desimartini, Vindu revealed that ever since Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla ’s tragic demise, he is not feeling like watching the show at all.

Vindu Dara Singh spoke elaborately on how he often got criticisms from some sections of Bigg Boss’ fandom whenever he used to root for a specific contestant to win the show. The Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya actor said, “You see, what happens is there are different kinds of souls so my soul is such that whatever I feel like doing, I do and whatever I feel like saying, I say. But I don't go down reading and scrolling on what people are writing so it doesn't bother me much. Hum Punjabi Hain so sometimes we get a little emotional, have a drink, and send out a tweet that I later regret (laughs). But otherwise, I don't regret anything that I've done. After Sidharth (Shukla)'s demise, I really don't feel like watching Bigg Boss too much so I haven't been doing a lot for the show a lot in this last year. But it’s a show that I love from the heart and I can really understand what's happening in those contestants' minds.”

The actor furthermore stressed that he along with the contestants who have already stayed inside the Bigg Boss house understands the minds of the contestants trapped inside better than the fans of the show who are watching it from the outside. Vindu Dara Singh went on to say, “So whenever they come out, I always pray that they all do well but I've realized that because I support somebody, the other fan clubs get very upset. They feel it’s unfair so you know, it’s better that I don't go all out and support any one person so that everybody feels that they have an equal chance. They're like 'Vindu Isko Support Karega Toh Yeh Jeet Jayega Lekin Aisa Nahi Hai.' I've lived in that house and I can understand the circumstances so my understanding of the people is a little better than yours. Anybody who's been on the show and has brains can understand a little better what's going on in the show than the public. No matter how much you dissect things, you cannot beat our thinking.”

Apart from this, Vindu Dara Singh spoke about the success of his recently released crime thriller flick, Forensic. The Housefull 2 actor said, “Well it’s wonderful, wherever I go, people say Rawat Ji, Rawat Ji (Vindu Dara Singh's character from Forensics). You feel very good about it and the reason why you work in the film industry is that people watch your work. And because now there are so many mediums, it’s crazy that you might end up doing your best work and people don't watch it so it’s very disappointing then. But ZEE5 has rocked it and Mansi (Mansi Bagla, producer of the film) and Sohum Rockstars have done a fantastic job. When a trailer is viewed more than 3 crore times, you understand that those 3 crore homes are going to run your movie. Because of that wherever I'm going, I can understand that Forensic has been loved and it has also sent out a message on how important a forensic officer is in the lives of criminals. If the criminal needs to be caught, you need a forensic officer 100%. If you don't have a forensic officer, the evidence can be according to who gives more money, or bribes and can be changed. In such a case, the criminal walks scot-free and the other guy will be implicated.”

Talking about Forensic, the movie is a Hindi remake of the 2020 Malayalam film of the same name. The movie also stars Radhika Apte and Vikrant Massey in the lead roles. It is currently streaming at ZEE5.
