Gaurav Khanna reacts to rumors of him quitting Anupamaa and it will leave all the MaAn fans delighted

Actor Gaurav Khanna who is currently receiving a lot of adoration for his portrayal of Anuj Kapadia in Anupamaa was rumored to be leaving the show soon. The fans of the show were predicting the same for the past few days after the actor has been receiving less screen time on the show. While this has left the entire fandom of the show extremely worried, now Gaurav has finally broken his silence on the same.

Talking about the same, Gaurav Khanna told a rather positive and reassuring development wherein he stated that he is fully committed to the show. The actor revealed, “I will just say that I am completely dedicated to Anupamaa and I have full trust in Rajan Shahi's version of Anuj. I am fully committed to the show."

Apart from this, the Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam actor furthermore also spoke about his screen time being reduced on the show. On this, Gaurav Khanna said, “When the character was narrated to me, I knew this character was going to be different from what audiences have been watching on TV so far. That's why Anuj Kapadia's role became so dear to people.”

Not only this but Gaurav Khanna also expressed his gratitude to have been able to get an opportunity to essay the role of Anuj Kapadia in Anupamaa. The Meri Doli Tere Angana actor said, “I have been in the industry for a long time and I feel this show is different and I am lucky to be part of it. Once or twice in this lifetime does an actor get an opportunity to play an iconic role on TV and I am thankful for that.”

Khanna went on to say that it is usually difficult to become a part of a show that has already been so popular but that he went on to receive a lot of love from the fans of the show. Gaurav Khanna added, “It is generally difficult to enter a show which is ongoing and people are loving it already. All the other characters were being loved a lot. But people gave similar love to Anuj as well. I wasn't expecting it and I am thankful for it.” For the unversed, the fans of Anupamaa love the onscreen pairing of Gaurav with Rupali Ganguly and call them ‘ MaAn .’
