Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Angry fans trend 'STARPLUS MOCKS LAWS' amidst the current illegal surrogacy track

Well, it seems the popular TV show, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has come under the radar of angry netizens who are extremely unhappy with the ongoing illegal surrogacy track of the show. The fans are calling out the channel and the makers of the show for making an alleged mockery of motherhood and the surrogacy process in the country. Needless to say, they started trending ‘STARPLUS MOCKS LAWS’ yesterday night on Twitter amidst the ongoing track which is still continuing until the wee hours of today (July 28).

Talking about the same, the fans are appalled by how Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is allegedly showcasing an illegal surrogacy process. The current track shows Pakhi ( Aishwarya Sharma ) again at one of her tricks wherein she coaxes Sai ( Ayesha Singh ) and Virat ( Neil Bhatt )’s legal surrogate to step down from the surrogacy process. Pakhi then becomes a surrogate mother herself and that too, without the consent of Sai. This has made the netizens extremely angry at how the makers can make a mockery of the surrogacy laws in the country.

One of the fans wrote, “According to IPS the signing of contract is a 'Waahiyaat' idea. Pakhi doesn't need to sign because she's a family member. Enough of insulting the profession.” While another netizen stated, “We gave you chances by filing IBF complaints in masses and hoping for good response, changes, and improvements. But nothing happened. So,we might have to file a PIL against #GhumHaiKisikeyPyaarMeiin.” Take a look at some of the tweets by the agitated netizens.

The fans furthermore called for efficient censorship when it comes to the content showcased on the Indian TV shows. They also stated how the illegal surrogacy track as well as the tribulations meted out at the lead female protagonist are triggering the viewers.
