    The Indian Idol 12 stage have been life changing for many of the top contestants who were a part fo the show. These contestants who entertained the audience for over six months on the reality show that ended in August this year, attained a celebrity status as they walked out with many fans, fame and even work assignments in tow.

    Pawandeep Rajan may have lifted the trophy but the finalists like Arunita Kanjilal, Danish Mohammad, and Sayli Kamble, Shanmukha Priya have also gained immense popularity. Rajasthani singer Sawai Bhatt who was also a part of the reality show, however, seems to be struggling financially while his contemporaries from the show perform internationally.

    The singer who was hailed for his powerful voice by not just the judges but many of the celebrity guests who graced the show, according to a report on Odisha TV is struggling due to the lack of a stable source of income. Sawai might not have made it to the finale of Indian Idol 12 but was fan favorite always and he was even given a few opportunities by Himmesh Reshamiya, who judged the reality show to sing after his exit.

    Sawai who hails from Gachhipura village near Didwana town of Nagaur district in Rajasthan, doesn’t own a home and was puppeteer before he entered the show. In an interview which he had shared earlier Sawai had revealed it was his dream to have his own house while also having expressed the desire to sing in a Salman Khan movie once.

    The singer had also mentioned how his village only got electricity after his made it as a talent on Indian Idol 12. Before the show Sawai would go from town to town puppeteering but did not find many takers for the craft after the advent of the internet. The fame gained on the show seems to have not changed much for him since as his financial woes continue.
