Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 star Mohit Malik opens up on his equation with Rubina Dilaik; says ‘she used to give me salt’

Actor Mohit Malik was slammed by several netizens last month when an episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 aired on television. The reason behind being trolled was that he accused his co-khiladi Rubina Dilaik of trying to hog the limelight. As a captain, he chose Rubina and Jannat Zubair to do a stunt. The Shakti actress said she wanted to do it and even went ahead, but before going for it she shared that she's scared of creepy crawlies. Mohit accused her of saying yes to the stunt only to be ‘seen’. This left Rubina in tears.

Well, in a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Mohit opened up about his off-camera equation with Rubina. He was quoted saying, “We are friends. We have been friends there also, it is just that on the camera in the game, that particular day something happens after that everyone forgets everything and are back in the hotel. Rubina is the one who used to give me the salt, I needed salt at times when my body is tired so Rubina used to give me salt every day. Rubina is someone who has such things with her all the time such as salt, incense sticks, or plants, so she had everything in her room.”

Mohit further stated that people exaggerate a lot when a little bit of something happens on camera. But maintained that they are good friends adding that he likes Rubina’s work and also her as a person. Well, during her journey as a khiladi, there were many contestants who were initially against Rubina. Jannat had nominated her for no reason, while Tushar Kalia had accused her of playing Bigg Boss in KKK12. But over time things got better and now Rubina shares a good bond with all of her co-stars.

If buzz is to be believed, the actress could emerge to be the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. However, she has strong competition from Faisal Shaikh.
