'Madhuri ki playlist hi dedo' : Fans accuse judges of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 to being biased towards Amruta Khanvilkar

Amruta Khanvilkar is inevitably a great dancer and is turning out to be one of the frontrunners of the show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 . However, now some fans of the show are accusing the makers and the judges of doing blatant favoritism towards her. This has aggravated more after the makers released the promo of her upcoming performance from the show.

The promo has Amruta Khanvilkar performing on Madhuri Dixit ’s cult dance track ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ from Khal Nayak. She can be seen slaying her dance moves and expressions along with getting the costume right which Madhuri herself had worn in the iconic song. Amruta soon gets a standing ovation from the judges and Madhuri gives Rs 101 to her as a gift.

This leaves Amruta Khanvilkar emotional and she says that she had also started dancing to songs of Madhuri Dixit and life cannot be better than this for her. However, it seems like some of the fans aren’t quite pleased with the same. Take a look at the promo.

Several fans started writing in the comments that Amruta Khanvilkar is just choosing to dance in Madhuri Dixit’s songs and is just performing in the Indian dance style routine. Fans added that Rubina Dilaik is showing much more variation in her dance performances but it is only contestants like Amruta and Gashmeer Mahajani who are taking away full scores and access to the golden chair. Amruta had earlier also danced to Madhuri’s iconic song ‘Dola Re Dola’ from Devdas.

One of the netizens stated, “Ek kaam kro madhuri ki playlist dedo ise or ek week vhi krwalo bss ...or kuch toh nhi krna madam ji ne” while another user said, “Ye public ki demand nahi judges ki demand lag rahi hai.” A fan further added, “Isko MD ke alawa koi or songs nhi ata kya wahi same styles karti hai kabhi diff sytle or genere karo phir dekbte hai kitna ata hai ,hadh hogai biasedness ki iss #jhalakdikhlajaa10 me.” Many fans also called her ‘overrated’ and ‘biased.’

Earlier the fans of Rubina Dilaik, Nia Sharma, Faisal Shaikh have accused the makers of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 to be biased towards Amruta Khanvilkar and Gashmeer Mahajani. Fans were especially enraged after Rubina’s last week’s classical act didn’t get full scores. Well, only the upcoming episode will tell whether the makers are indeed biased towards Amruta or Gashmeer or not.
