Mika Singh on his prospective brides in Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti- ‘They know who I am; will obviously come for my name’

One of Bollywood’s most popular and gifted singers, Mika Singh is ready to embark on an exciting new journey! After making it big in the entertainment industry, he now plans to settle down and focus on family life. In the upcoming show Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti, which airs on television on 19th June, he will set out to find the perfect life partner. As he began shooting recently, he was joined by his brother Daler Mehndi , comedian and good friend Kapil Sharma and singer Shaan , who will be hosting the show.

In a chat with ETimes about the same, Mika shared that he understands his prospective brides will come to the show because he’s a popular name in the industry. He explained, “All the girls coming on the show, they know they are coming to be my life partner. They know who I am and that I am an established name. They will obviously come for my name, fame and there’s nothing wrong in it. Everyone wants to marry someone who is well to do and settled, even parents also look for a bride or groom who is well settled in life, nobody wants their kids to marry a struggler.”

He went on to add, “Girls usually wish to marry a person who is self made and can take care of her and her family. Agar woh ye soch ke aata hai I don’t have a problem at all. It depends on me, how I want to be with them.” Before Mika announced his show, Bigg Boss fame Arshi Khan was in talks to have a swayamvar too. In the past, many celebrities have opted for similar shows in order to find their better half, including Rakhi Sawant , Rahul Mahajan, Shehnaaz Gill and Paras Chhabra .
