Being a part of the entertainment industry means fame, love from the audience and a glamorous life. But there are also several cons, like struggles that the actors face before they make a mark with their work and prove their worth. Well, in a recent interview Mohit Malik opened up about the same. Sharing how ‘hustling’ is all part of the game, and he’s doing it till date, he revealed that his debut show never went on air. He was also replaced and lost out on work.

Talking to Pinkvilla, Mohit revealed that he almost experienced the infamous casting couch. The actor was quoted saying, “Just one time an incident happened in Mumbai. Somebody called me for a film, and he tried to do something and I ran away from there. Just little one thing that happened. I have been very practical and cautious. Also, I am from Delhi, so I can sense that vibe from the beginning. So it didn't really happen with me.”

While Mohit did struggle initially, today he has emerged to be a popular name in the television industry. Not only did he star in shows like Doli Armaano Ki and Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, but also became the third runner up of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8. Currently he is winning hearts with his performance in Rohit Shetty’s stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. He is one of the top contenders on the show along with actress Rubina Dilaik, digital influencer Faisal Shaikh and choreographer Tushar Kalia to name a few.
