The show saw director Sajid Khan enter as one of the contestants and it seems that the Twitterati is infuriated with the same. Sajid who had around 9 women coming out and accusing him of sexual harassment during the wake of the MeToo movement, is now being asked to be thrown out of the Salman Khan -hosted reality show with the trend ‘Remove Sajid Khan’ taking the center stage.

    Not only have the netizens started a Twitter trend to remove Sajid Khan from Bigg Boss 16 but some users also formed a petition to be signed and spread amongst maximum people that calls for the director to be removed from the show. One of the netizens wrote, “What is the message that such a popular show is sending men and women? That people in power can get away with anything? I urge @BiggBoss to Remove Sajid Khan (MeToo accused) From The Show.” Another user went on to state, “And the least we can do is not watch the show meanwhile… You can't give a platform to a sexual predator accused by multiple women. YES everyone deserves a second chance in life, but NOT those who r@pe & sexually predate on others! when u think of providing a '2nd chance' to such monsters, pls keep your mom & sister in place of the victims then talk.” Talking about Sajid, around 9 women namely the late Jiah Khan, Saloni Chopra, Mandana Karimi, Rachel White, Aahana Kumra, Simran Suri, Karishma Upadhyay, Sherlyn Chopra, and Dimple Kaul had accused the director of sexual harassment and misconduct. Well, now one has to just wait and see whether the makers of Bigg Boss 16 do decide to oust Sajid from the show.
